IN-PERSON & VIRTUAL CONFERENCE
The Technology for Future and Ageing Pipelines Conference shares knowledge and features the latest achievements on the assessment, use and maintenance of ageing high-pressure (cross country/offshore) transmission pipeline systems and ageing low-pressure distribution pipeline systems.
Attracting the world’s top researchers, engineers and decision-makers from pipeline research and academia, the event is jointly organised by Great Southern Press (GSP) and the University of Ghent.
The conference draws on the legacy of two events previously organised by Rudi Denys (Universiteit Gent) and John Tiratsoo (Tiratsoo Technical) – the Pipeline Technology Conference and the Ageing Pipelines Conference.
The Technology for Future and Ageing Pipelines 2022 Conference (TFAP), was held at the Ghent Marriott Hotel in Belgium from 29 – 31 March 2022.

TFAP 2022 CONFERENCE PROGRAM
The 2022 TFAP program was rated 4.5 out of 5 stars by attendees. And 100% of attendees said the conference was important to the advancement of the pipeline industry.
The TFAP 2022 Conference Program covered a number of topics that are timely and relevant to the pipeline integrity sector including but not limited to: data management, fracture and fatigue testing, pipeline welding, strain-based design, in-line inspection, numerical modeling of pipeline mechanical behaviour. The event also included a special EPRG curated stream on hydrogen research, projects and operator reports.
The 2022 Conference Proceedings are now available for sale in digital format. The 700-page PDF includes a linked table of contents and bookmarks of each paper for easy navigation. The digital Conference Proceedings are available to purchase for 350 Euro.
